Impact Inked is opening a new front for PlayStation VR2 players with "Unlock the Vault," a publishing initiative built to bring existing VR titles onto Sony's headset one reveal at a time. The program launched with a four-minute video featuring Flat2VR Studios' Myles Dyer alongside former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida and creators Ryan Biniecki, Rob Pearson, and Bryan Paul — each of whom will unveil a future vault title of their own in the months ahead.

First out of the vault is Soul Assembly's Drop Dead: The Cabin, a co-op zombie extraction shooter that launched on Quest in 2023 and later made its way to Steam. The PlayStation VR2 version bumps the player count up to four, with release set for August 27, 2026.

It's a natural extension of Impact Inked's role as the publishing arm handling PlayStation VR2 releases across Impact Reality's growing catalog, and a sign there's more coming through the same pipeline before long.
